Confidential v. Confidential:  Our firm represented a child injured as a result of exposure to e.coli bacteria.  E.coli is a common baccillus that is found naturally in animal and human feces.  It is most often spread by poor handwashing technique, particularly in restaurants.  When it infects food products it can produce a form of toxic shock and can result in brain damage, kidney damage, and death.  In this case the client was severely injured and our recovery assisted the family in making life care plans for their injured child.  The terms of the settlement, the names of the parties, and the specifics of the settlement are all confidential.

Fischer v. Su:  Our firm represented a woman injured during surgery.  The plaintiffs theory of the case was medical negligence, but the defendant complained that the device used to perform the surgery was defective.  Because of the firm's expertise in products liability actions, the defense was ignored by the jury which returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff in an amount of $300,000.  Steve Gorny and Christopher Wright tried the case.
